ATIM ARM® RADIO MODEMS

The new ARM radio modem range is perfectly adapted for applications such as remote control, monitoring, telemetry, data transfer, etc. where cabling is sensitive and expensive (dam, weather station, mechanic instalations, ...) as well as for mobile applications (vehicules, cranes, robots, ...). The variety of its device interfaces allows it to bring from one point to another, digital, analog, serial or Ethernet information over large distances.

  • Interfaces : digital, analog, RS232, RS485, Ethernet
  • Frequency Band: 433 MHz, 868MHz, 915MHz (for USA)
  • European Standard without license
  • Power (ERP) up to 500mW for long range
  • Configuration : Hayes commands, Utilities under Windows
  • Upgradeable (Extension I/O cards)
  • Compact metal case for DIN rail mounting
  • Low power consumption version

Available versions :

  • ARM-D :   « Digital »
  • ARM-DA : « Digital and Analog »
  • ARM-S :  « Serial »
  • ARM-CS : « Serial » in compact and weatherproof case
  • ARM-E:   « Ethernet »
ARM-X:   « eXtended »  (version including an ARM-S or ARM-E base and I/O modules)

ARM-MANAGER

  • French and english in standard
  • Compatible with ARM series
  • Integrated spectrum analyzer
  • RSSI link test
  • High-level ASCII/Hexa terminal
  • Modbus master emulation

ARM-S SERIAL RS232 / RS485 RADIO MODEM

  • 1 RS232 port (SUBD 9 pin connector Rx,Tx,Rts,Cts,Gnd)
  • 1 RS485 (2 wires) (terminal block)
  • Transparent or securized mode (1200 to 115.200bps)
  • 1 opto-coupled digital input (bornier)
  • 1 Vmos 30V/0.5A max digital output (Watchdog)
  • External 10-30Vdc power supply (terminal block)
  • Consumption: <50mA at 12Vcc (10mW version)
  • Basic module for ARM-X extension (I/Os)

ARM-CS (Serial in compact and weatherproof housing)

  • Compact and weatherproof housing
  • Subd 15-pin connector with power supply, RS232, RS485, RS422
  • Transparent or securized mode (1200 to 115.200bps)
  • 10-30Vdc power supply
  • Standby mode (low consumption)
ARM-E (ETHERNET RADIO MODEM)

  • 10/100BaseTx (RJ45)
  • Automatic (DHCP) or manual IP address assign
  • Alert by e-mail (SMTP)
  • Other features identical to serial version
This version allows the connection of serial RS232 or RS485 devices to Ethernet devices for enabling the access from a LAN (or from Internet).
For instance, Modbus commands can be sent from a network connected PC to remote ARM-S, ARM-CS or ARM-X, allowing thus to read and write their I/Os.
ARM-D (Digital) or ARM-DA (Digital and Analog)
  • Remote control, contact report, synchronization of remote devices, etc...
  • 2 opto-isolated digital inputs
  • 2 Vmos 30V/0.5A max digital output
  • Cyclic mirroring or triggered mode
  • Modbus slave mode
  • Configuration by RS232 on the backside (RJ11)
  • External 10-30Vdc power supply
  • Compatible with ARM series
